Healthinc Forms for NLCSP

Structured reporting and NCSR submission for lung screening.

The NLCSP workflow is more than the lung reading task. Healthinc Forms brings the structured data, workflow, validation and registry submission around the examination into one connected process.

Healthinc Forms can ingest and transform structured information from across the radiology enterprise — RIS, PACS, modalities, CAD, clinical systems, administrative systems and other workflow sources — then dynamically map what is already known into the clinical and technical fields required by the NLCSP workflow.

One connected screening workflow

Reuse information already available in your systems.

Healthinc Forms reuses structured data already available across the organisation instead of asking people to enter it again. HL7, DICOM, JSON, XML and other structured inputs can be mapped and transformed into the clinical, administrative and technical information required by the workflow.

Dynamic data mapping Map what already exists. Ask only for what is missing.

Patient, order and referral data may come from the RIS; dose information may already be in PACS; other clinical or administrative facts may live elsewhere. Healthinc Forms can dynamically map those sources into a single NLCSP workflow while preserving where each piece of information came from.

Already in your PACS workflow Automatic CT dose capture

Reuse the CT dose report already being sent to PACS. Healthinc Forms can bring the required dose information into the NLCSP workflow automatically instead of asking staff or radiologists to enter it again.

Keep clinical work clinical

Send outstanding tasks to the right team.

NCSR submission has mandatory administrative and technical requirements, but they should not all become radiologist work. Healthinc Forms can separate the clinical reporting task from submission readiness and route non-clinical gaps to the appropriate team.

Clinical

Radiologist

Focus on findings, screening assessment, recommendations and the clinical report — the things that require clinical judgement.

Administrative

Administration

Resolve missing Medicare details, demographics or other registry information without interrupting the radiologist for a non-clinical data issue.

Technical

CT technologist

Follow up a missing CT dose report or acquisition-related input with the team that owns the examination rather than pushing the problem into reporting.

Orchestration

Workflow orchestration

Track what is still missing, notify the right role, and hold the NCSR submission until the required information is complete and validated — while allowing the clinically complete report to continue through its normal delivery pathway.

Radiologists can focus on clinical reporting while other teams resolve administrative and technical gaps.

Flexible reporting, without replacing your reporting system

Clinical reports and NCSR outputs, without replacing your reporting system.

Healthinc Forms can produce purpose-built outputs for the clinical reporting pathway and for the structured NLCSP/NCSR workflow, while letting each organisation decide where the radiologist actually reviews and authorises the report.

01

Clinical report

Build a report for the normal clinical pathway and feed it into the systems the practice already uses. Where useful, Healthinc Forms can supply report content without duplicating patient demographics, making it easier to flow into RIS, PACS or voice recognition/reporting systems.

02

Structured NLCSP / NCSR output

Build the structured screening result for its own purpose, with the required NLCSP data, validation and submission workflow rather than forcing the clinical report to carry the registry process.

Workflow choice Authorise where it fits your workflow

The radiologist can review and authorise in Healthinc Forms, or the organisation can keep authorisation in its RIS, PACS or voice recognition/reporting environment. The workflow can be configured around the systems already in use.

Managing both reporting pathways

Keep clinical reporting moving while registry issues are resolved.

The clinical report and the NCSR submission are tied to the same examination, but they do not have to succeed at the same instant. Healthinc Forms can let the clinical pathway continue while registry-specific issues, outages or missing administrative details are resolved separately.

Clinical continuity

Keep clinical delivery moving

A clinically complete report can continue through the normal RIS, PACS and referrer-delivery pathway even while an NCSR submission is waiting on a missing demographic, reconciliation task or registry availability.

Submission quality

Stop submission errors before they happen

Healthinc Forms validates and transforms the structured result for the NLCSP/NCSR requirements before submission, so avoidable formatting, completeness and mapping errors are caught before bad data is sent.

Operational resilience

Treat NCSR availability as an operational workflow

Planned or unplanned NCSR outages do not need to become a radiologist problem. Submission state can be monitored, held and retried while the clinical report follows its normal path.

Change-aware workflow

Addenda only when the change matters

Changes that are clinically relevant, or otherwise affect both outputs, can trigger the appropriate addendum and resubmission workflow. Changes to fields that do not alter the clinical report should not cause duplicate reports to be sent to referrers.

Both outputs stay linked to the same examination, with validation and follow-up handled according to their own requirements.

Not tied to one reading product

Connect to your existing reporting and imaging systems.

Healthinc Forms is not a diagnostic viewer and the NLCSP solution is not limited to Veolity. It is designed to receive structured information from supported clinical systems, normalise what is needed for the workflow and keep the final review and registry process consistent.

Veolity can provide a particularly integrated chest CT and pulmonary nodule workflow, but it remains one part of the end-to-end solution rather than a prerequisite for Healthinc Forms.

NLCSP workflow and integration

Plan the reporting and submission process together.

Healthinc can work through the RIS, PACS, lung reading, structured reporting and NCSR submission pathway with your team and identify what should be automated, what still requires clinical review and where the integrations belong.
